Our Real-Time System Management team is looking for a dedicated Linux System Administrator to be part of an industry leader in finance and technology. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and work in a very fast paced environment. You’ll feel right at home if you…

  • Have the ability to learn quickly and have a passion for new technology
  • Have 3+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
  • Have basic knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Have basic knowledge of operating system and computer architecture fundamentals (an asset)
  • Have basic scripting skills (Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Have experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible, etc. (an asset)
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Are available to work outside of normal hours

What you’ll be working on: 

  • Making sure all systems are functioning during any trading operations
  • Preparing systems for upcoming trades
  • Automating processes
  • Providing regular support in the areas of software and hardware maintenance and deployments
  • Participating in a rotating shift to cover maintenance activities
  • Becoming a solid team contributor to support multiples trades and improve current processes
